Kelston has spent most of his life working with people. After leaving agricultural college early following a motor cycle accident, he worked with the mentally and physically disabled. This was followed by a six year career working in acute psychiatry.
After a break with the NHS Kelston embarked on a new career. He spent four years studying remedial massage in the UK and then travelled to India, Sweden, America and Thailand looking at different techniques and approaches to massage.
This was still not enough, and at this point Kelston decided to train in osteopathy. He spent 5 years studying at the College of Osteopaths in London qualifying in 1993. Since this time he has gone on to take his MSc. in Osteopathy qualifying in 2005. He has been in full time practice for 14 years.
Professional activities:
-Founder member of the Oxford Osteopathic group
-Founder member of the special interest group – Visceral & Obstetric society
-Regional Osteopathic representative for the Oxon, Bucks and Berks areas.
-Senior lecturer in osteopathy at Middlesex University
Kelston still finds time for his family and his other two passions Micro-light flying and motorcycling.
